Welcome to Candor Bodywork. I'm so glad you're here.

If you've found your way to this page, chances are you're searching for answers, relief, or simply a way back to feeling like yourself again. I know what it's like to be in that place.

For years, I navigated unexplained chronic health challenges that led me from practitioner to practitioner, searching for answers. I was eventually diagnosed with endometriosis and underwent surgery, hopeful that it would finally bring relief. While it helped, I quickly realized it wasn't the complete answer I had been searching for. My healing journey continued as I found a physician who suspected Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). Along the way, I also began navigating the possibility of tethered cord syndrome, hypermobility, and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. Like so many people living with chronic illness, every answer seemed to uncover another question.

Through that journey, I discovered bodywork, and it opened the door to an entirely new understanding of healing. It taught me that our bodies are incredibly intelligent. They adapt, protect, and carry the experiences of our lives—physical, emotional, and everything in between. Sometimes those experiences show up as tension, pain, or patterns that no longer serve us. I came to understand that healing isn't always about finding one diagnosis or one treatment. It's about supporting the nervous system, creating safety within the body, and making space for the body to do what it was designed to do. I believe healing begins when we create space to listen to the body with curiosity, compassion, and presence.

My healing journey also asked something much deeper of me: to choose myself. I made the difficult decision to leave a relationship that no longer served me, step away from a corporate career of nearly ten years, and leave the only state I had ever called home. My sweet pup, Bonzi, and I relocated from Portland, Oregon, to sunny San Diego in pursuit of a life rooted in alignment, health, purpose, presence, and joy. Those decisions weren't easy, but they transformed my life and ultimately led me to the work I feel called to do today.

My passion for this work is deeply personal. I know what it's like to wonder if anyone truly understands what you're experiencing. I know the exhaustion of advocating for yourself, living with uncertainty, and longing to feel at home in your own body again. Because of my own experiences, I feel especially called to support individuals navigating chronic pain, nervous system dysregulation, complex illnesses, and the often winding road of searching for answers. Every person who walks through my door arrives with a unique story, and I believe each of us has an innate capacity for healing and finding balance.

My intention is to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, supported, and safe—a place where your body can soften, your nervous system can settle, and you can reconnect with yourself.

The name Candor has been with me since I was a child. Long before I knew I would become a bodyworker, I dreamed of owning a business with that name. While I once imagined it as a fashion brand, life had other plans.

As I've grown, I've come to believe that so much of life pulls us away from those qualities. We learn to meet expectations, play roles, and suppress parts of ourselves to keep moving forward. Yet our bodies remember. They hold onto our experiences, waiting for an opportunity to be acknowledged and understood.

Today, I have the privilege of helping others navigate their own healing journeys through Craniosacral Therapy. I believe the body is always working toward balance. My role isn't to force healing but to support your body's natural ability to restore itself. Whether you're navigating an acute injury, chronic pain, nervous system dysregulation, or simply seeking greater ease in your life, my hope is that each session helps you move closer to resilience, balance, and finding your way back to your joy.

I'm honored you're here, and I look forward to being part of your journey.
